UPCYCLING LIMITED EDITION SS22: LIMITED PRODUCTION / AVAILABLE WHILE STOCKS LAST
A new model from Lesca: Brut.
Initially designed by Joel Lesca and recently reviewed by his son Mathieu.
A softly square silhouette, with flat bridge, and the hockey end temple hand riveted in the Lesca workshop.
Upcycling, also known as creative reuse, is the process of transforming by-products, waste materials, useless, or unwanted products into new materials or products perceived to be of greater quality, such as artistic value or environmental value.
LESCA, a family owned company manufacturing French eyewear since 1964, decided to step up its efforts with regard to ecology.
The brand now buys stocks of old acetate materials in order to make collages and patchworks in original colors.
Also used as a way to promote the work of its historical partners based in Oyonnax (Jura): besides the environmental benefits of reuse, upcycling makes it possible to create and recreate unique objects with high added value for loyal customers, who are ready to put the price for a unique and original frame, made according to the rules of craftsmanship by skilled workers, on the fringe of our seasonal catalogue.
