In 1964, Joël LESCA created his first collection in a small workshop in the Secrétan neighborhood of Paris's 19th district. His sons, Mathieu and Bertrand, grew up in this same environment, surrounded by glasses, learning the craft alongside their father in the assembly workshops.

Vuarnet has a story, and it’s unique.It began rue Boissy d’Anglas in Paris in 1957 where Roger Pouilloux had his workshops. After gaining experience with Dries Van Noten, Florentina Leitner decided to focus on her own label, which emphasizes excellent design and innovative sustainability.
