With the launch of Clin d’œil Theo eyewear pays tribute to Surrealism, drawing inspiration from the work of Belgian artist René Magritte.
This collection plays with illusion and perception, with each frame carrying a subtle wink—both literally and figuratively.
Clin d’œil holds a hidden secret: a delicately integrated eye in the temple, which only reveals itself when the frame is folded. A nod to the world of optical illusions, reminding us that a pair of glasses is never just a pair of glasses. Or as Magritte might say: Ceci n’est pas une Theo…..or is it?
The Pipe is an nod to La trahison des images (Ceci n’est pas une pipe), challenging perception and reality.
